Upon Neste announcing their collaboration with Licella and ReNew ELP in order to utilise waste plastic as a raw material, our Cat-HTR™ technology has received extensive global recognition by the scientific and recycling community. This builds upon Licella’s recognition as the global leaders in hydrothermal upgrading.
Licella has partnered with Neste, the world’s leading producer of renewable diesel as well as the UK-based chemical company ReNew ELP, in the development of a project to explore the potential of using mixed waste plastic as a raw material for fuels, chemicals and new plastics. Renew ELP are constructing the world’s first commercial-scale Cat-HTR™ chemical recycling plant in Teesside, UK.
As Licella enters into this exciting partnership with Neste, our Cat-HTR™ platform once again emerges on a global scale at the forefront of chemical recycling, as well as renewable fuel and chemical production.
