PM Scott Morrison shared Licella's Cat-HTR technology with the world during his address to the UN

Last week Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, shared Licella’s Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor (Cat-HTR) chemical recycling technology with the world during his address to the United Nations General Assembly.

The Prime Minister discussed during his address how Australia is leading on practical research and development into recycling, and Licella’s Cat-HTR technology was highlighted among those world-leading solutions.

“New technologies are coming on line with the potential to recycle used plastics into valuable new plastics – creating a circular plastics economy.

These include innovations like… the ‘Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor’ – an innovative Australian designed technology that converts end of life plastics into waxes, diesel and new plastics.

These innovations show us a truly circular economy is not only possible, but is achievable.”
